Stats
As a courtesy to artists featured I have previously posted here
our aggregate and or average stats. Meaning number of listeners
and number of hours listened. I will on a monthly basis for that
same reason post those figures here. Rainbow World Radio is geared
to service and entertain our "network" of sites such as;
StoneWall Society. OutVoice, and upcoming Equality-Net to name a
few. This includes our members, listeners and visitors.
In the recent past a few "GLBT" identified radio and or
station sites have initiated a "ratings" campaign to
bolster audiences and edge to a more "commercial" image.
I find this particularly offensive in a few ways. Therefore our
networks will not participate in such campaigns. I believe
this "ratings" approach will ultimately create a demise
in shows, stations, and programs geared to the GLBT community in a
non-commercial manner. As Rainbow World Radio is not a
commercially supported site this is particularly inappropriate.
